| LIGHT AT NIGHT | |||||
| The electric light stood out in the night sky. The night felt familiar, like the last time I had gone to the airport. It was about 3am and it was dark. In mid-summer I rode through the dark 3am with the concrete and yellow lights on 30ft poles. Tonight felt familiar, but it was just after 1 am, 9:20 by my clock (being 3 hours and fifty minutes wrong.) I was headed home after a rather eventless Saturday night. The electric light preached its electric message of death (and love) but it didn?t make me think about it. It didn?t usually, but this time it felt like it should. All it made me think about was how dark it was. But there were those yellow lights on those poles. | |||||
